- Second Annual Candyland Competition Recap
What a whirlwind day in Atlanta, y’all! Pink Ice Dance Company took the city by storm at the Angelic Pearls of Atlanta (APOC) competition, directed by the fabulous Janee Martin-Boston. Teams from across the country brought their A-game, but our squad came to win. We chartered a bus, turned up our tunes, and rode down to Georgia, ready to conquer the floor.
And boy, did we deliver! Our crew snatched first place in both the Creative and Parade categories, and snagged a fierce third in HBCU. The energy was electric, and the stands were alive with the cheers of our Pink Ice Parents (PIPs)—y’all were the real MVPs, shouting and supporting like the champs you are! Your energy fueled our fires, and we felt every bit of your love and pride.
It was a true team effort, and because of everyone’s hard work and dedication, we brought home those Grand Championship Trophies! Shoutout to every dancer, parent, and supporter who made this victory possible. We didn’t just step, we ATE! 5, 6, 7… ATE! Here’s to many more wins and unforgettable memories. Pink Ice forever!
